Sometimes I still get that feeling. That slightly queasy, excited feeling that forms in the pit of your stomach. And then your heart beats too fast, abnormally fast. Your palms begin to sweat. Your knees literally go weak. Your whole body forgets how to function correctly, simply because of a person. How silly is that? We live every day knowing perfectly well how to walk, talk, breathe, think. And then you put us next to someone, just an ordinary person, and we’re struck dumb.
It’s been five months since we met, and you still strike me dumb.
I took this photo on our first trip to Fells Point. I was laying next to you on a dock.
