So, today was great. Every aspect of it was ideal. I woke up around noonish, which is when I prefer to wake up. I’m not an early riser. I like the nights. I dropped my brother off at school and came home to find my girlfriend already here, waiting for me. I showered, got dressed, and we all drove to the school to see my brother in Much Ado About Nothing. He played Friar Francis. I’m not sure what I expected in his performance, but what I saw was not it. He was great. I’m proud of him. He clearly put a lot of time and effort into his role, which is an enormous feat for him. And this is something he really enjoys.

We hung around for a bit after the play, then went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. I love food. No one can comprehend my love for food. And I especially love expensive restaurant food. I had steak, and a salad, and a sweet potato. Fuck I love food. I saw my friend Brittani and her husband Jason there too, my sister and I visited their table for a couple minutes. They just got married on Halloween. It feels weird calling Jason her husband. They don’t seem like the kind of people who would get married. Whatever that means.

My girlfriend stayed over and we retreated into my room to watch Rocky Horror and a bit of But I’m A Cheerleader before she had to head home. Silly curfews. It’s incredible how quickly I fell in love with her. And how I continue to fall.
